The Russian
defense ministry's national defense
control center NDCC said on Friday, it is noted that on the 3rd of December
Russian airspace control detected
targets approaching the state border of
Russia over the neutral waters of the
black sea, to identify aerial targets and prevent
violation of the Russian state border Su-27 and Su-30 fighters were scrambled.
The crews of Russian fighters identified
aerial targets as the u.s air force
RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft
and the Cl-600 reconnaissance and target
designation aircraft. Artemis of the u.s
ground forces and escorted them over the
black sea, the statement says.
After the foreign military aircraft
turned away from the state border the
Russian fighters safely returned to the
home airfield. The flights of Russian fighters were
carried out in accordance with
international rules for the use of
airspace. The state border remained safe.

a fighter jet to intercept a British spy
plane operating near Crimea. the black
sea peninsula which Moscow annexed from
Ukraine in 2014.

The ministry said it had scrambled a
Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet to intercept a
British Boeing RC-135 reconnaissance
plane which it said had been trying to
get close to Crimea. It said the british plane had changed
course away from crimea after being
approached by the russian plane.
Putin told merkel by phone on thursday
that western actions in the black sea
region were destabilizing, dangerous, and
provocative, the kremlin said.
The defense ministry said in its
statement that the increased nato
activity involved two u.s warships, strategic aviation and four NATO spy
planes in the last 24 hours including
the british one. It said it looked like an attempt by
nato to scout out a potential theater of
war.

take back by force its eastern danbase
region which it lost control of to
russian-backed separatists in 2014. It said two russian warships were
tracking the US vessels.
