Referred to as an Alien Nest, U.S. Area 51 Turns Out to Be The Location of Secret Fighter Aircraft Manufacturing

Have you heard of Area 51 in Nevada, United States? Rumors about Area 51 that are circulating in the community are that this location is a landing place for spaceships carrying aliens.

Rumors of alien research in Area 51 have been in the public eye for years. However, the United States has never responded to the perception of Area 51 as an alien nest.

Area 51 is a US Air Force test facility built in Groom Lake, Nevada and activities within it are strictly classified.

Due to the very high level of secrecy, Russia even in April 2019 intentionally sent a Tupolev-154M spy plane to find out what activities the US Air Force was carrying out.

But still, Area 51 remains unknown to the public and seems utterly mysterious.

According to an article from the National Interest, there is a separate reason why the US is keeping a strict watch on the facilities in Area 51. That reason has nothing to do with aliens or extraterrestrials as rumors circulated.

Apparently, the Pentagon deliberately closed Area 51 from public observation because this is an experimental area for various types of fighter aircraft.

Here are some of the planes that are thought to have been the result of experiments at Area 51.

1. Lockheed U-2, Spy Plane

In 1955, the US Air Force allegedly tested a Lockheed Martin spy plane. Two types of spy planes were developed, the CIA's U-2 and A-12.

2. Russian Fighter MiG-21

In 1966, Israel managed to have Russian-made Mig-21 fighters and in 1968 MiG-17F as many as two units.

These three Russian-made fighter aircraft were dismantled at Area 51 to find out the extent of the Russian-made aircraft technology.

These three Russian aircraft were also tested for their combat capabilities against several US warplanes.

3. Aurora Hypersonic Plane

In the 1990s rumors emerged that the US Air Force was working on a hypersonic aircraft project called the Aurora.

However, there is no concrete evidence that the Aurora aircraft was tested and flown in Area 51.
