Philippine Air Force (PAF) to get two more C-130 hercules military transport aircrafts. The philippine air force will acquire two more Lockheed C-130 hercules airlift aircraft to add to its existing fleet of fight used to transport medical supplies and personnel tests to contain the coronavirus disease, Covid-19 pandemic.

The cost of acquisition for the 2 C-130s is php 2.5 billion. The United States Foreign Military Financing (USFMF) program provides grants and loans for the acquisition of u.s defense equipment, services and training. Based on our current status reports one of the C-130s is expected to arrive this month july while the other one will arrive before the end of the year. Both have no specific arrival dates yet, cost is php 2.5 billion.
