Philippine Army Artillery Regiment AAR Conducts Technical Inspection of 12 Howitzers from Israel


PH army gets 12 new israeli self-propelled hotels. Manila the Army Artillery Regiment (AAR) will get a much needed boost with the recent delivery of 12 units of salt and 155 millimeters slash 52 caliber self-propelled horses from israeli firm l-bit systems.

As of now the army still waits for the formal acceptance of the new assets, he added in the message to the philippine news agency.

Trinidad also said the 12 self-propelled hoaxes were required to provide the AAR with mobility with firepower. It was acquired under government to government set up under horizon 2 of the armed forces of the philippines modernization program and is worth php 2.4 billion.

He added that the weapons will augment the existing 155 millimeters towed hurts as being operated by the AAR, it is in addition to the existing fire support artillery guns the 155 millimeters towed hotels, Trinidad said.
