Two strategic missile carriers to 160
long-range aviation performed a planned
flight in airspace over the neutral
waters of the barrance norwegian and
north seas. the fighter escort was provided by the
crews of the Mig-31 aircraft of the air
force and air defense association of the
northern fleet.
The flight duration was about 15 hours. during the flight long-range aviation
crews performed mid-air refuelling.
At
certain stages of the route russian
strategic missile carriers accompanied
the british air force eurofighter
typhoon fighters long-range aviation crews regularly fly
over the neutral waters of the arctic, north atlantic black and baltic seas and
the pacific ocean.
All flights of aircraft of the russian
aerospace forces are carried out in
strict accordance with international
rules for the use of airspac.
