Two battalions of S-400 air defense systems and 12 Sukhoi-35 fighter jets
will be sent to Belarus from Russia to participate in the Union Resolve 2022
joint war games on February 10-20.

12 Sukhoi-35 aircraft and two battalions of S-400 air defense systems, as
well as the Pantsir-S missile and artillery battalion will be redeployed to
Belarus," Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said on Tuesday

Fomin stressed that the hardware move will be carried out in two stages. The

to protect the most threatened routes and critical government and military
facilities, as well as the United States' air borders.
"Readiness and capabilities will be checked by the air defense forces on
duty, including the joint command air defense center, to provide protection
for key facilities on the territory of Belarus," he continued.
After that Formin added, during this phase the military units delegated by
the Russian Eastern Military Region and the Belarusian forces involved will
carry out shooting exercises and other exercises. "Tactical drills will be
held at various proving grounds to practice defense operations and the fight
against illegal armed groups," Fomin said.
Meanwhile, Belasuria has also confirmed that this exercise will take place.
“The inspection will take place in two stages. In the first stage before
February 9, the Belarusian and Russian militaries will practice redeployment
of troops and form a task force in a short time in a dangerous direction,"
said a statement from the press office of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
"In the second phase of the inspection, which will take place on February
10-20, the joint exercise Union Resolve 2022 will be held," the statement
continued.
According to the statement, the Belarusian and Russian militaries will also
check the readiness of troops and the combat alert capabilities of air
defenses, including joint air defense combat training centers, to complete
combat training tasks.
The troops will practice their joint operations at the Obuz-Lesnovsky,
Osipovichsky, Brestsky, Gozhsky and Domanovsky training grounds and also in
