The explosions which caused no
casualties but did some material damage
are the latest in a string of such
incidents in recent weeks. An attack in southern iraq on sunday hit
a convoy carrying supplies to coalition
forces, the military said.
Several thousand u.s forces are still
based in iraq leading a coalition. United states blames for regular rocket
attacks on bases hosting the coalition
and on other u.s targets such as
washington's embassy in baghdad. The militias have vowed to avenge the
death of paramilitary commander who was
killed alongside iranian military
mastermind in a u.s drone strike in
baghdad. Political forces aligned with the
militias demand a full withdrawal of
foreign troops from iraq.
They also oppose iraq's prime minister
who took office in may. He is viewed as being friendly with the
united states and has challenged the
power of iran-aligned armed groups in
iraq. Multiple attacks an explosive device
went off while a convoy of the u.s
occupation trucks laden with logistic
materials was passing in al-malikiyah
area, hasaka countryside as two trucks
were burned.
Two trucks carrying logistic materials
to support the u.s occupation's bases
were burned due to explosive device
blast in vicinity of the illegitimate
somalka crossing in Al-Malakaya area, Hasakah northeastern countryside, local
sources reported.
The sources added that it has not been
known whether there were casualties
among the occupation forces due to the
security court in which they had imposed
on the area of the incident. On november 23rd several missiles
targeted the u.s occupations base at
crab algier airport in hasaka
countryside.
