NATO countries have begun moving their troops, fighters and bombers to the
Russian borders preparing for a possible attack. At the moment it is known
that american armored vehicles and combat aircraft have already been
redeployed to eastern europe, while there is information that part of the
military equipment will be deployed on the territory of ukraine and in the
coming weeks to the Black Sea, Mediterranean, Baltic and the Barents Sea
will be sent warships.
This fact indicates that the alliance is preparing not only for a potential
but also for a real attack Russia.
At the moment the avia pro agency has information that such countries as
France, Great Britain, the USA, Spain etc have decided to deploy their
troops, warships and aircraft near the western borders of russia while
experts pay attention to the fact that armed conflict could break out at any
moment.
The russian side has already announced its readiness to respond to nato
actions in the very near future which probably implies that russia will
begin the transfer of its additional forces of several tens of thousands of
troops to the western border, while probably all russian units including
strategic troops will be put on high alert.
The situation at the moment is extremely difficult while nato is unwilling
to make any diplomatic decisions which only increases the tension.
In response to nato provocations, russia sent 20 warships into the baltic
sea. Most of which are tactically armed and capable of delivering accurate
strikes against key nato military bases in europe within minutes.
At the moment a group of more than 20 russian warships is in the waters of
the Baltic Sea however in all likelihood in the near future russian warships
will begin to show the western readiness to go to a confrontation if ANTO
does not stop provocations against russia.
It is known that russian warships will carry out practically combat missions
including tactics for the destruction of surface, underwater and air
targets.
Moreover it is quite remarkable that both electronic firing and live firing
are implied which indicates the fact that the russian side is ready to
demonstrate a position of strength to the west.
20 warships, boats and support vessels of the Baltic fleet left their
permanent bases and entered the designated areas of the Baltic sea to
perform tasks as part of planned combat training activities, the press
service of the western military district reports.
A little earlier several nato countries decided to send their warships to
the baltic sea to create tension along the russian borders, however it is
obvious that the russian fleet that entered the exercises will force the
alliance to retreat.
Meanwhile roughly 8,500 american troops have been put on heightened alert in
the US in case NATO activates its response force or if the security
situation in europe deteriorates further, the Pentagon has said.
EU Foreign Policy Chief Josette Burrell sought to calm western fears over
the ukraine crisis after talks with uUS Top Diplomat Anthony Blinken.
We know very well what the degree of threats are and the way in which we
must react and no doubt we must avoid alarmist reactions," Bburrell said on
monday. "you have to stay calm doing what you have to do and avoid a nervous
breakdown, he added."
NATO allies have put forces on standby and sent ships and fighter jets to
bolster europe's eastern defenses as tensions soar over russia's military
buildup near ukraine. The security alliances move announced on monday came
as the United Kingdom began withdrawing staff from its embassy in Kiev as
fears persist of an imminent russian invasion following russia's messing of
some 100,000 troops near its neighbor.
The Kremlin has repeatedly denied planning to make an incursion. with more
than 100,000 russian troops stationed near the Ukrainian border fears are
growing that President Vladimir Putin will decide to invade.
The threat comes eight years after russia annexed crimea and sparked
fighting in the Donbass region of eastern ukraine where a low-level conflict
which has killed more than 14,000 people is still rumbling on between Kiev
and Separatists.
Although the west hopes to alleviate tensions and the risk of war in the
region talks between the kremlin and nato have made no ground and so as
things stand it is far from clear what will happen next.
Meanwhile Ukraine is poised to launch a rocket this week as the country is
conducting tests amid soaring fears of a Russian invasion. Ukraine's
military activity comes as reports of over one hundred thousand russian
troops stationed at the russia ukraine border have sparked fears of an
invasion.
Moscow has now expressed concern about the transfer of military equipment
from NATO countries to the russian borders, but the u.s has said russia
appears to be making preparations to deploy 100 battalion tactical groups.
Mr Biden has previously warned moscow that if any, any assembled russian
units move across the Ukrainian border that is an invasion which would be
met with severe economic response. This also comes after the uk accused
russia of plans to install a pro-russian leader in ukraine.
Foreign Secretary Liz trust publicly named released yevan nuriyev, a former
Ukrainian mp as the Kremlin's preferred candidate to take over the country
following an invasion. She also warned russia of stark consequences if it
invades.
She urged mr putin in a statement to desist and step back from Ukraine
before he makes a massive strategic mistake. She said the kremlin knows a
military incursion would be a massive strategic mistake and the UK and our
partners would impose a severe cost on Russia.
