Nuclear Exploded, China Fires its Nuclear Targeting Japan as War Threat over Intervention in Taiwan

China threatens japan with nuclear war over intervention in taiwan. The chinese communist party aired a video in which it warned japan of a nuclear response and full-scale war. if the island nation interferes in china's handling of taiwan, Fox News reported.

The video which appeared on a channel approved by the ccp, singles out japan as the one exception to china's policy to not use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear powers. "We will use nuclear bombs first," the video said. We will use nuclear bombs continuously. We will do this until japan declares unconditional surrender for the second time.

The video was deleted from chinese platform Zigwa after gaining 2 million views. But copies were uploaded to youtube and twitter, Taiwan News reported.

According to fox news the threats followed comments made two weeks ago by japanese officials about taiwan's sovereignty. With deputy prime minister taro aso saying that japan must defend taiwan, The Japan Times reported.

If a major incident happened over taiwan it's safe to say it would be related to a situation threatening the survival of japan. If that is the case japan and the us must defend taiwan together, ASO said.

China ministry of foreign affairs spokesperson Zhao Legion urged japan to adjust its mentality over the issue. "We once again urged japan to approach the relevant issues with the right mentality and show its respect for china's sovereignty and sincerity in upholding regional peace and stability," Legion said according to fox.

27 chinese warplanes skirted taiwan on sunday, cutting across the island country's southwestern air defense identification zone without crossing into its national airspace. The sortie itself wasn't unusual. the chinese air force and navy routinely send fighters, bombers and patrol planes around taiwan for training in his shows of force. But the sunday mission was special in at least one regard. It was the first time the people's liberation army air force had sent one of its new Y-20U tankers along on an ADIZ Jaunt.

The Y-20U is a big deal for the plaf's war plans. So big that it's likely to provoke a reaction by taiwan. The u.s military has around 500 strategic tankers, most of them KC-135s. They help to extend the endurance of fighters, bombers and other aircraft, allowing them to range over the vast expanse of the western pacific ocean from bases in Japan and Guam.

By contrast the chinese air force until recently possessed just three russian-made ILL-78 tankers as well as a couple dozen or so tanker conversions of the h6 bomber. The ILL-78s each can offload up to 100 tons of fuel per mission, making them roughly equivalent to a KC-135. An H-6U can offload fewer than 20 tons of gas. It's unclear how much fuel Y-20U can give away but the figure surely is closer to 100 tons than to 20 tons.
